Our Waters

Explore Our Three Unique Waters

We have a rod share arrangement with Bradford City AA and our Members also have access to a lovely 1½ mile stretch of the mid Ribble. This water is well stocked with brown trout and grayling and there is always the chance of a salmon!

Churn Clough Reservoir

Nestled near Pendle Hill, Churn Clough features crystal-clear water, rich hatches, and regular trout stocking. The peaceful setting is perfect for immersive fly fishing.

Laneshaw Reservoir

Located high on Reedshaw Moss, Laneshaw offers 16 acres of fly-only fishing. Well-stocked with rainbow, blue and brown trout, it’s a rewarding challenge for any angler.

Colne Water

Running through the heart of Colne, this river offers wild trout fishing. Part of the Wild Trout Trust’s ‘Trout in the Town’ project, it’s a true urban gem.

Capture The Memory

We love seeing the moments our members create on the water. If you’ve caught a beautiful trout, enjoyed a quiet morning by the reservoir, or simply snapped a stunning photo of our landscapes—share it with us!

Send your fishing photos to our team via email and you might see them featured on our website or Facebook page. It’s a great way to celebrate your catch and share the spirit of Colne Water Angling Club with the community.
